Tapan Pandit, a graduate of Shari Academy, is a photographer with a keen eye in search of capturing the essence of human spirit. The two year training program has sculpted him into a through professional craftsman.

His first exhibition Braj Holi Festival, won him fans and accolades from many countries. This photography exhibition is a testimony to his skill of capturing unique details of moments defined by verve and vigor. His work has been featured in renowned publications such as TimeOut Pune, Domus and Goethe Journal. Tapan Pandit's experiments with fashion photography have been popular for their extraordinary use of light and surrounding. His every fashion photography assignment has been emotive, expressive and elusive in nature. This quality has won him a chance to closely work with widely acclaimed contemporary dancer Hrishikesh Pawar, documenting his work through artistic photographs.

Tapan Pandit has also been the official photographer for A R Rahman's Classic Incantations tour in Mumbai, in addition to being the official photographer for the Indo-German Urban Mela.

His passion for focusing on subjects through his lens has enabled him to frame precious moments of life lived in moments. His work invokes feelings of joy, sorrow, happiness, empathy and sometimes just pleasure. Pleasure that you want to encapsulate and keep it as a memento for eternity.
